The official logo of POTIPOT lakwatsa!

sobrang enjoy ako sa potipot. At first, I thought i wont be enjoying kasi nabuset ako sa mga tao dun, they are overpricing. just recentely island fee for overnight stay was only P200. then thy moved up to P300, the day before we arrived. paranng nag rent na din kame sa mga resorts dun sa Dawal.. then yung 5-gallon water is P200. pack of uling is P50. yelo is also P50. ang mahal diba??? ang mahal ng island fee nila pero yung bathroom ang dumi, hindi maayos. sana naman whoever owns or managing the island should know how to improve their cubicles.

but nevertheless, Potipot is so beautiful, I enjoyed much SWIMMING IN THE water. I cared less whether mangitim ako or what. I loved the place so much at a much less cost...

since ive been planning out out-of-town trips every now and then, here's my checklist on what to bring on so not to forget.

Personal stuff:

1. camera
2. tripod
3. alochol
4. sunblock
5. mat
6. lots of tissue
7. rugs (basahan)
8. towel or sarong
9. soap dish (with holder)
10. lots and tons of water
11. good books to read
12. fully charged cellphone
13. fan (for road trips)
14. shovel

camping materials:

15. knife
16. can opener
17. plates
18. sppon/fork
19. bandehado or serving plate
20.sandok
21.scissor
22. plastic bags/ trash bags
23.straw

Foods na madali lang lutuin:

1. hotdog
2. corned beef
3. egg
4. cooking oil
5. talong
6. bagoong
7. instant noodles and pancit canton
8. bread with tuna spread

Much fun kung may mga activities. Sea shore we played, palalilam ng baon.. divided into two groups and the losing team is tasked to cook our meal.

next activity is on the water, touch the tail.. hahahah so much fun really.

and also, it was a bright idea to create a uniform sando sa mga sasama. may souvenir na agad kame, at maganda sya sa mga picture taking.

i hope on our next trips, we wont forget anything na.. mahirap kasi kung kulang-kulang sa gamit. Feel free to add up on my list, if i miss something.

This was us!

stretch stretch!

ako na naman ang napagkatuwaan.

GOOD BANANA

(I received this text message from a friend, I found this very informative, just wanted to share and to make myself remind about it everyday. It is quite true, and a whole lot cheaper isn't it?)

MEDICAL TIPS:

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. But according to nutritionist Michael Straten, 2 pieces of bananas are healthier than apple because it is the best source of potassium which can alleviate medical conditions like diarrhea, fatigue, heart burn, insomnia, nausea, menstrual problems, kidney problems, fluid retention, palpitation, blood sugar regulation, circulatory problem and fights stress.
