an endless road to tambobong, dasol, pangasinan

July 10 2am, Me, Anne, Randy, and DJ (our sexy driver).

Our adventure began, even before the trip itself started. . .

It was a nightmare for us, suddenly, a huge rock hit the engine of the car. It made an impact we felt it as we seated at the back. We almost backed out, kasi we saw something like a water coming from the engine and there was like a clock ticking, and it almost like it never want to go out. Funny thing was, out of desperation, we asked help from fellow car drivers sa NLEX kasi Service Bay ng gasoline station will open 8am pa, eh 3am pa lang.. We asked 3 different people.

1.
the manong-know-it--all-kunwari: tinakot pa kame na baka daw radiator ang natamaan, and we can never go back to Manila baka daw mag-overheat pa. at muntik pa kameng magpauto. Then we saw another guy,

2.
si manong-na-mukang-may-alam-talaga driver: he said, engine is in good condition, and nothing to worry about. (yey thanks god!) we opted to get a third opinion.

3.
bang! si Kuya security guard and at ang Shell crew: sabi everything is ok at walang problema..!

Yey! ready to hit the road...

@ NLEX

We have never thought na hindi pala sya simpleng byahe..We were lost, we even came across Manaoag.

One of the good things of detour is we were able to take good pictures.

taking pictures, habang si dj ay nagddrive

pull over, magtanong na tayo.
ang tubuhan ng hacienda luisita

Isdaan, i dont know where it's at..
we told ourselves pag-uwe na lang kame kakain dito.
we never thought that we wont be hitting the same road.

we finally saw a sign of the beach..

lovely rice fields...
ALAMINOS! whew. then we are on the right road

FINALLY, DASOL CITY

These are the landmarks. nearing bgy. tambobong.

exploring Matabang Beach Resort, Bgy. Tambobong

Good thing, low tide, we were able to abuse the white sand.

I am super loving the pictures. I loved the place, kung di nga lang malayo at super 1hour rough road to the max. Parang nasa dulo na ng Luzon tong binaybay namen.....

Slept the whole evening, it rained. super sarap matulog. We have set up for island hopping the following morning around 5am. ika nga ni DJ "it almost didn't happen". Since it rained real hard last night, we heard the waves hitting the shore, we thought our boat couldnt make it kasi malakas ang alon. Bute ginising kame, at nagset-up!

with only 5 coconut trees on the entire island. whew sunburn!

CABACUNGAN CAVE.....

relaxing sa cave na to... There's so much peace and serenity on this place

well, time is up for us. gotta head back to the beach.
